Stan Adams
My good friend Andrew knowing how much I like belt drive fans brought a 30” Sedco for me to the Mardi Gras meet. It is not a brand I’m familiar with but made here in Houston. Great fan & super quiet, but maintenance wasn’t considered. To replace the belt you have to unbolt the pillow blocks, slide the belt over the sheave, then through the slot in the bracket. Bolt the pillow blocks back on & adjust the tension. I love it Andrew! Ken McClead
It appears to be a really big window fan judging by its construction. I have never heard of the brand myself. The fan must run at a fairly high speed by looking at the motor/fan pully diameters. It bet it blows like a hurricane. Nice find.
Ken McClead
I think I just found its big brother! It appears to have a 4' diameter blade. I do not know if it made by the same company or not, but the blades look very similar. Here is a picture of the fan
