GE ‘56/‘57 Vortalex Restoration

Hey everyone. I got into restoring vintage woodworking machinery a few years ago and changing it up a little bit with by restoring my first GE Vortalex fan. I got while visiting my parents house in Texas earlier this year. It had been sitting in their car port for God only knows how long. She’s in rough shape but I think she’ll turn out okay. It’ll be more of a restoration/customization from some ideas I have. Hope to have it complete by this weekend. I’ll post some finished photos when I’m done but until then, here’s some of how she looked this past weekend when I disassembled the components. Hope everyone’s having a great week and take care.

Matt
