Mel Lagarde
Good morning When a search a topic on the old forum I am getting 503 Gateway Access Denied when I select one of the older posts. I am using Safari but I have also tried Chrome. Any suggestions? This was happening once before a few years ago before the new Forum was operational. Any suggestions anyone? Is anyone else having this problem? Thank you, Mel
David Allen
Mel; there is a malware problem with the server for the old forum. I have an other thread about it. Most likely the gateway access denied error is related to that malware.
Mel Lagarde
Hi David Thank you for responding to me. This must be the issue. It is disappointing because I cannot access all tremendous written experience contained on the old Forum. Maybe one day all those posts can be placed on a more secure software. My best to you, Mel
Noah Britt
If you are willing to use a desktop or laptop and open the Chrome browser, there is a solution. Click the "Not Secure" sign in the left side of the address bar. Then click "Cookies". Then click "Remove" and "Done. Remove as many cookies as you have this way, and log back in. Works for me every time. Credit for this solution goes to Mark Olson. Also you can right-click on what you want to look at and select "Open link in incognito window". This will not completely solve the problem, but it will allow you to view what you want. I don't know if this works on mobile devices. I believe Bill Dunlap came up with this workaround.
