I was going to refurb the fan but the windings were shot and I think the cost would be cheaper to buy a good shape kwik kool fan then rewind this one. But the pedestal was what I bought the fan for. I sand blasted the stand and painted it mint green. I was looking on eBay for a fan for the pedestal but no luck. It has to be the one that has the flat round head not the bullet type.
