Cleaning up a 19644

Blew apart my 19644 to get it all cleaned up. Used Meguiar's 105 compound on my little 3" air buffer to clean up the original Japan. Got all the brass polished up except the cage. Cage needs some straightening first.

Thanks guys. Here's the cage fresh off the buffer. Still have a little bending and tweaking I want to do to it. Admittedly, I don't have the patience others do for straightening cages. But trust me when I say it looks better than when I got it!

Fabulous job! Wish I knew how to do blades like that.

Thanks David. I just do the 3 different compounds/wheels on the bench buffer. But the real shine comes out when I hit it with Simichrome polish by hand. The motor badge was just with Simichrome. I've done a couple fans where I just wanted some nice brass shine but not a full mirror shine; I'll just do the Simichrome by hand and it yields nice results.
