Tim Babcock
I have a GE 95X539 fan I am almost done with. When I bought it it was missing one of the screws that holds the cage on. Its a non standard screw in that its more like a self tapping then a machine screw. Would Lowes have something that would work?

Tim Babcock
The threads are a lot like a self tapping wood screw. I bought a 10 size 1.25 inch wood screw and kept grinding down the outside till it matched close the one I needed. I was only missing one so I put it on the bottom where you can not see it easy as its not a perfect match. Its slotted and I will paint it brass to make it blend in even more. but it went it a little stiff but not too bad.
