Steven P Dempsey
This WPA fan - - A box of tennis Balls - - My dog enjoyed them, and my first Big Motor Emmy, packed in stinky kitchen garbage. Took some time, But I fixed it. Seller had zero remorse (feebay) . . .and BTW, foam peanuts are WORTHLESS!!!
Patrick Ray
Wish I took pics of the packing job, but I bought a 16666 on feeBay and it was shipped to me completely encased with brand new bed pillows. It worked! Arrived undamaged and ready for restoration.
Patrick Ray
Foam peanuts are junk! Bought a 27666 that WAS in great original condition. Got home to a box on my porch. Slipped my hand under the box to carry it in and I could feel the gear box sticking through the bottom. My heart sunk. Opened it up and had a trashed gear box and it was hit hard enough at one point during transit that the motor housing broke. After donor parts were acquired, it was brought back to life. John McComas
That's a real shame. That was a nice looking hassock fan. I feel your pain/anger.
Steve Cunningham
Otto Schnellbacher sent me a fan. I think it was an Emerson. He put the fan in a heavy plastic bag. He sprayed foam insulation in the bottom. Set the fan in, then sprayed more until the box was full. The fan arrived fine. But it made a serious mess of my garage. I ended up using a tree saw to cut up the foam. 3
Ted Kaczor
when asked to partially disassemble fan providing detail instruction for shipping, sometimes you get more than what you asked for...must be passionate mechanic. Seurprized that the stator wasn't unwinded, just saying. Edited November 2, 2022 by Ted Kaczor 1

Btw the seller packed it extremely well, but shipping took a beating on it, I received this thing packed in packing peanuts, and a crap ton of bubble wrap and other material, wasn’t the seller’s fault, I blame it on UPS Still want to get this guy going badly Edited November 2, 2022 by Arjun Saini

Steve Cunningham
I once received an early Eck brass blade. It came from England between two pieces of cardboard, taped along the edges. It made it!

Patrick, I know my opinion but ask you make your own conclusion on the cleanliness. I have been in the butcher business since 1981. Never resued old meat trays. Tony Clayton
I sure did not bring it inside. I left the stinky box outside until I repacked it and sent it back.
Todd Adornato
I received an electric motor that was packed in empty egg cartons. The shaft poked a hole through the shipping box, but the motor was fine otherwise.

'Baked' and 'Lite' clearly refer to the seller's cerebellum. They should have kept it!
