They were running but hard to tell if any wind was coming off them as they were high up.   Theylooked good though.

Maybe geared (pulleyed)
down to a really slow
speed for ambience?

Maybe VFD'd?

Maybe custom built for them. I have looked at my belt drive "whole house fans" that I have made into box fans for the shop, seems to me a few pillow block bearings, shaft, pulleys and sheetmetal, wouldn't be hard to fabricate one. The "venturi" would be difficult without special tooling.

Nice Find!!     one caveat,   I was at El Camino in West Palm Beach!!   LOl.

 

Which has the more desirable 6 wing blades!!
