J. Loyd Davis Collection - Part 2 - The Fan Man Cometh (Again!)

In 2019 we listed and sold >135 fans on Ebay from my father's 30+ year antique fan collection. This represented roughly half of his overall collection.

We are pleased to announce that we will be selling the majority his remaining collection in 2023.

C&C, Crocker Wheeler, Edison, Emerson, GE, R&M, Westinghouse, and more.

Bi-polar's, oscillator's, all brass, pancakes (and bacon!), etc.

Some are dusty, some are rusty, and some are fully restored.

A wide variety of fans at various price points for beginning, intermediate, and advanced collectors.

The video below shows a preview for many, but not all, of the fans that we are working hard to get ready for sale in 2023.

More details in the following post.

Most of the fans will be sold via weekly Ebay auctions that will start on Sunday, February 12th.  Each week we plan to list 5-7 fans for auction/sale on Ebay.

Here is the link for the Ebay seller:  https://www.ebay.com/usr/jld-fanman

In addition, we plan to offer a small number of some of the rarest fans for direct sale first on the AFCA Buy/Sell forum and simultaneously on the “Antique Electric Fan Enthusiast”  Facebook group:   https://www.facebook.com/groups/491641217643323/about/

Also this you tube channel will have videos for many of the fans once they are offered for sale:  https://youtube.com/@JLD.fanman

As you can see from some of my recent AFCA posts, I am working to get these fans ready for sale.  We hope to sell as much of the remaining collection as we can in 2023.

Oh, that Emerson in the corner at 1:07 with the 2nd Gen oscillator is what I’d latch onto if I had the cash - I know that one will go for big bucks!

Ha - the bidding has already gone way over my budget!   Is there a 16666 coming up for bids in a later round?  That’s the one I’d be looking for.

@Todd Adornato

All these Emerson types with 4's and 6's get a little confusing and 16666 appears to be the devil no less!

This is only to be surpassed by GE Type XY Form Z Cat# AAAAA Variant 1/2/3  🙂

But it appears that we don't have a 16666 in stock for stuff we have inventoried so far .....
