Lane Shirey
To all. If you have not checked for new messages in your inbox for a while, you may now want to check daily. It seems that notifications that we used to receive that someone left you a message on this forum are going straight to the junk folder. This has happened to many folks here. I have had several people go silent when I leave them a message and when I find other ways to contact them they say they never got a message here on the forum. But then they check their forum inbox and there it is! They always find a pile of notifications in their email junk folder. And, if I remove the AFCA address from my spam list, it goes right back in there on the next notification. This really needs to get fixed. Something changed, because I used to get notifications from this new forum. in the meantime check your forum inbox!

Mark Olson
I have not had this issue. Anyone that has may want to check their email filters/settings. I do not believe that this would be a forum problem.
Louis Luu
Quite a few members are finding their message sent to the spam folder. Even when you hit not spam....it keeps putting in the spam folder.
John Landstrom
Interesting…. I’m not getting the messages to my email, nor are they showing up in the junk folder. Not sure what settings ya’ll are referring to, I haven’t changed anything from the past. I’m using an iPad.
George Durbin
So far I am not having these issues...
Scott Braswell
I have same problem, all emails go straight to spam no matter what I try. No clue why.
Chris Campbell
Messages sent to yahoo are still categorized as spam and this is not on my end.

Mine go to outlook as spam. Like Louis, if I change their status to not spam, it changes back. I’ve even made a rule to move all emails with the AFCA domain to the inbox. That only works once. Must be the way the domain appears to the email servers. Edited April 19 by Lane Shirey
John Landstrom
In case it helps the investigation into this, I’m using a “@MSN” email address. Aka: Outlook.
Jamie Horner
Please see the Forum Policies & Technical Help forum and the suggestion I made in the Email Notifications topic:On 3/27/2023 at 10:58 AM, Jamie Horner said: You might try adding the notification email address to your address book in your personal email account. We haven't changed any forum settings recently, or updated the forum software, as far as I'm aware. It's possible that either whatever email service you're using is flagging the incoming I.P. address or the incoming server as a spam-related I.P. address or server and sending your messages to a junk/spam folder, or it's possible that some setting or software or server got changed, of which I am unaware. Adding the "notification email address" (the incoming email address) to your address book in your personal email account might solve the issue. If not, I can see if I can dig up any info on anyone else running this software who may have just started having this issue. If that's not the case, I can look to see if we changed servers, IP addresses, or software, of which I'm unaware. Just like with fan repair, it's unfortunately not a black or white answer. Jared DelOrfano
Here is what I did to fix in in gmail: 1. Open the email in your spam folder. Click on the three dots on the right side to open up a menu for creating a filter. Select "Filter messages like this." 2. The following dialog box opens. You do not need to input anything here. Just click "create filter." 3. This will bring you to the next dialog box. Here's how I set up my filter and it worked. I also created a new label for my inbox for all AFCA stuff but you don't need to do that for this to work. @Chris Campbell @Jamie Horner Edited April 27 by Jared DelOrfano
