Greg Calmly
I cant find what motor this is from in this old early 70's champion Any ideas? I figured it to not be: RMR, GE, UE, Fasco, Mcmillan or westinghouse when I researched it
Tom Zapf
ITS AN ODDBALL FOR SURE...IT SURE IS VERY CLEAN ! IT IS SOMETHING MAYBE YOU WOULD EXPECT MORE FROM THE 50S. THE LIST YOU GAVE ABOVE WOULD BE TRUE IT ISNT ANY OF THOSE YOU LIST AS BEING A "NO" ..WHERE DID CHAMPION BRAND COME FROM? NOT COMMON HERE ON THE EAST COAST. IT ALSO DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A HUNTER PRODUCT, NOR AN EMERSON, VERNCO/SEARS, PATTON OR DOMINION ....HMMMM
Tom Zapf
LETS SEE THE WHOLE FAN...I WONDER IF THAT IS A DAYTON?
Greg Calmly
Its not mine its a friends. He sent me the photos and asked me which I dont know. Its an early 70's champion As far as youtube goes: Theres 2 with a McMillan (But they're listed as "Doerr" and not as McMillan) Theres one with a westinghouse, fasco and RMR. Then theres this with the unknown motor. So out of the six I see on youtube, almost all of them have a different motor and they're all from the same time period. Tom Zapf
ITS AN ODDBALL FOR SURE, I AM STILL LEANING TOWARDS A DAYTON DESCENDENT ...IF THE BLADE IS WHAT I THINK IT MIGHT LOOK LIKE THEN I MIGHT LEAN EVEN STRONGER TOWARDS THAT....

Tom Zapf
THE BLADE DOES LOOK LIKE A DAYTON STYLE FROM THE 50'S , THEY SURE ARENT A COMMON LOOK...I WONDER IF CHAMPION WAS A STORE BRAND . I WILL TRY GOOGLING CHAMPION AND SEE IF I CAN FIND OUT WHAT CITY THEY WERE LOCATED IN
Greg Calmly
Champion wasnt a store brand. They made theyre own fans and even branded some for TG&Y and other small unknown stores. Champion has 0 to do with the motor.
Russ Huber
Give em a call, customer service may put you in contact with one of the lifers to pin that motor down. 🙂 Champion Cooler Corp.
