Hello all, I believe I’ve done my due diligence, but I’ve come up empty. Can anyone help with identifying this fan. The closes I got was a manufacture called Crest. The bottom information paper say Modernistic Electric Fan. Any help will be appreciated

Bingo, thanks Jeff, looks like I'm missing the badge.

Kinda interesting that they borrowed R&M’s name used for their peacock fan.

Lane, good morning, quick question, when you mention the “R&M name” are you referring to Modernistic? If so that would make some since to why when I did a search using that word it seemed come all R&M style of fans. Any information on the relationship between StarRite and Fitzgerald? Thanks

When U mention Crest, Fitzgerald rebranded their whole line of fans for some retailer as the Crescent fan. The only place U would see that name is on the missing brass cage badge. I've never known what company they rebranded the fans for. Some keen fan historian may have the answer to that question.

Was this fan manufactured before or after the RM Modernistic fan?

Yeah, never thought of that. The Star Rite may be first. Hmmm

This had my curiosity up. I don't know. and they happen to fall into a time period difficult for me to pull up in the books. Maybe Mike Kearns and his old paper access.
