Doug Abraham
A genuine 100% Hunter? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Hunter-Desk-Fan-With-Brass-Blade-Works-8-Blade-/203755009582?
David A Cherry
I think it’s real because I have one that’s non-isolating it has a sticker on the bottom that says Hunter as well.. Model number 503.. The cage and badge as well as the base are all the same as this one.. This one is the oscillator model obviously but it looks correct with the exception of the painted cage I believe it was originally dark green..The badge is brass
Doug Abraham
Thank you for the feedback. Should the blades be brass? Maybe painted on this one when the cage was done? I wish there was some kind of documentation on the various models that Hunter sold. I know many are rebadged GEs and such.
Trevor Andersen
I've seen one like that at an antique mall near me and it has some kind of micarta blades that have been painted gold.
