I meant the rotor windings; they don't belong on the later fans with 12-pole rotors. I suspect that a late production 6-pole Edison *may* have been shipped with a 4-wing blade, but I have NOT seen evidence of that as yet that I remember. Paul Michael Posted May 26, 2023 Share Posted May 26, 2023 Actually, I meant to ask originally - I heard that these were recast at some time in the past. Does anyone know that for certain? I have seen an example that looks different from most of them, but it was possible just sanded or worn down excessively. But the casting also shows a difference or 'break in mold... This tag is also affixed 180º from later 6-pole motors!
