I have a 9" mystery fan.  I believe it is an AEG.   Cage just like AEG with impossible clips etc and motor housing similar.  Motor tag 110/120 can't read amps and 50~ ( I assume that is cycles) Runs on AC and very fast on DC.  Oil cups I believe our proper ( on top ) I have seen AEGs with cups on top and bottom.   Both cups currently have no wicks or springs one was bone dry the other had  glob-o-stuff.

What do you think it is?

Are oil cups on top correct?

Spring and wicks replacement?

Run on AC?

I run my fans maybe once a year for ~ 10 secs and not worried about any damage having been done so far

The medallion, cage, and oiler does fit AEG.

No, it’s not AEG but rather a German look alike.  It might be Orbea but I can’t recall for certain.
