Isaiah Sampson Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 NOTE THIS IS NOT A QUESTION! JUST POSTING POSSIBLY USEFUL INFO Reference this post for photos for reference as to the look of the model: See attached PDF for the diagram. I am also dumping photos of the motor/switch for reference. All wiring was simply clamped inside the switch, or in the case of the neutrals, twisted into a wire nut. However, the red wire from the motor was soldered to one of the wires from the light and then they were pushed together into one of the switch clamps. The other light wire went to the motor/power cord neutral. The switch for this fan is meant to be disassembled, which is wonderful; just bend the overlapping clamps out. However, there are multiple loose copper wire clamps inside to be put back into place, and the clamps are not the same across both sides of the switch. Refer to the diagram for which clamps go on which side. The copper contacts ring on the back face of the rotating internal knob always goes back in the right position due to matching notches in the ring and the knob, so don't worry about that.
