I recently picked up a 12" B/B Western Electric and I've never seen one like it before.  The guard looks to be GE, the blades are rounded and not pie shaped.  The base is stamped steel and the oscillator is completely covered by a plate at the back of the motor.  The motor is very large and not like anything I've seen.  The catalog number on the tag is  D 07006.  Any ideas, thanks John W.

The 3 big boy round tip wing blades that come to mind marketed through WE are Westinghouse, Robbins & Myers, and Diehl.

Hey John,  I'm thinking that the D on the motor tag indicates it is the 1913 Diehl rebadged for Western Electric. Cast iron motor frame enclosed in a stamped or spun steel outer casing that hides the oscillator gearbox.  Neat fans that do not show up very often anymore. Does that sound consistent with what you see ?? Cage logo should have WE written in nearly cursive font in a banner placed diagonally across the logo with cage clips riveted with 2 rivets at the top and bottom of the flat brass logo. Yes ???
