But I can "check out," as it would appear many have. The point is, if Facebook works fine and maybe preferred, why have the expense for the club? It seems silly to have a redundant site.

I've been using the search function quite a bit Lane. The old site posts are still very helpful. Not disparaging this site just wondering why two distinct sites for same club. In fact, don't really care, it was more the sarcasm that annoyed me.

Two distinct sites?  Not understanding.  The lights have been essentially turned off on the old BB script forum since the data was moved here. Might still come up in searches, but nonfunctional to the best of my understanding.

     I'd give AFCA any information, insight, experience I have to share; Facebook I absolutely refuse to even access... and I disappear its cookies & cache when someone posts through them in some mysterious fashion or I inadvertently am led there...   Two sites for the single function of dealing with fans, one actually outside of the Club, seems wasteful I agree, of time if nothing else.

     This is our Club.   Got a problem with Search?  Let's address your grievance and fix things. Something else that doesn't suit? Let's find a better way, if it agrees with the general membership...

     This is our Club.   Facebook is a predatory corporation, every click on which expands its grasp, and staggering, possibly unjustified, wealth.     I say... support AFCA instead.

The fb group isn’t even remotely the same thing as this site. Plus….there are lots of “old guard” types that aren’t on fb and won’t ever get on there. So all that knowledge is here….not there. I live the fb group(s) though. They have their place for ease if use and simplicity etc. But it’s just not at all the same thing.

Hey marc, regardless of the use, it's split content. That's the only point. Frankly I don't care and never have, I took a little offense at the sarcasm about asking Larry pretty please. There's members older than me on Facebook too, there's no old guard in today's world. Facebook requires information I'm reluctant to give them so I don't have an account, it's a choice. You can learn how to use it in 5 minutes. So tell me to leave again.

You initially said “this site is irrelevant so why pay for it”….indicating that you prefer ti use the free fb. Now you’re saying you don’t do fb. So….not sure which story you’re sticking to. Lol. Anyhow….im out of this thread. Too bad it couldn’t be just a nice thread about fun at pig pickin’

Actually, I owe everyone an apology (except one). They are right, this is a better resource and a solid site as I have stated. To each their own, ain't my business, but someone could have taken the time to mention the Dayton archfoot (or so I understand) that showed up on their site awhile back...

Mike, My pretty please comment simply meant that if YOU wanted to see Larry’s great videos then YOU should ask him nicely to post them here. You turned this thread into a bi@%$ session.  Not sure why the hostility. There was no offense intended, you just interpreted it that way.
