Stanley J. Lancaster Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I have two 6250 pedestal fans that both need oscillator repair. One was "fixed" with a screwdriver, the other appears to have met blunt force trauma. I have the parts to repair at least one, but no clue as to reassembly procedure. Are there diagrams or instructions available somewhere? Thanks for your time and suggestions. (Geoff- great auction and meet last weekend. Thanks for all your effort.) Quote
Stan Adams Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Not sure what parts you need, but Tom Newcity had a bunch of oscillator parts at Geoff’s. Quote
Anthony Lindsey Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I have done a few of them. What exactly do you have? Pictures? 2 Quote
Stanley J. Lancaster Posted June 20, 2024 Author Posted June 20, 2024 To be specific, I need to know how to assemble the oscillator wheel and fit it correctly on the shaft. The ones I have are in pieces. Quote
Steve Sherwood Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 The shaft should have flat places on it. Algin the screws on oscillator wheel with the flat places on the shaft. Quote
Michael Bouthiller Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 There also a screw that goes into the oscillator wheel to allow the variable oscillation feature Quote
