Russ Huber
On 6/30/2024 at 4:23 PM, Jim Roadt said: Jim's, it appears is the second transitional introduction model exclusive for 1923. The earliest models 1921-22 had 2 speed selection. Notice what appears to be 4 strut 21-22 to 2 strut in 23, along with the introduction of a 3 speed switch. Russ Huber
Jim, you trying to give me a heart attack? Mighty mouse is riding the edge of the bar stool seat. I fell off a few of them in my early 20s 🙂
Russ Huber
Jim Roadt kindly offered to help me out to take the 4 above fans to Fan Fair to sell. If they don't sell, they come back with Jim. Thanks again Jim. In place of the 16" 06 GE cake that in short notice was pulled, I grabbed an Emerson 1500 I restored years ago. The brass is not lacquered and has gained patina. When I restored it back then I did not buff the blade to a high flawless luster. I soaked it, gave it some light buffing, and hand polished it. The fan motor itself was gone through thoroughly and was found mechanically sound. Healthy original stator and centrifugal mechanism. It runs great. The fan is all factory original aside from a powder coat finish, power wire, and rubber feet. The original finish unfortunately had crossed the line to salvage.
