Kim Frank
George, that 16 inch Sidewinder is one I restored back in 2008/09. It was nice to see everyone that came to Fan Fair. Hopefully everyone had a good time. For me, they don't get much closer to home. I had to drive all of 7 miles to get to the Fairgrounds. Since we hosted Fan Fair, we won't be doing the Fall Museum Meet this year. We may have a workshop sometime in Oct-Nov on a Friday and Saturday. If we do, we'll open up the shop, cook up a big vat of chili, and work on fans. Real informal. Stay tuned and we will update as the time gets closer......

I’d definitely interested to know when it might. I’ll stay tuned. Thanks

I was telling Karla ! was looking for a white fan! And we walked in the door and I'll be darned the sidewinder sit all dolled up and what I was looking for! I didn't get past the table and said I will take it and didn't even run it! Glad to have it! To Tom, Kim, and Eddie and all who put this together it was a wonderful meet!!! Geo... George Durbin
You can't say enough about the gals who kept us fanners in line and doing what we are supposed to do at a great event put on by the volunteers of the AFCA! NO ONE has to do anything to support our silly hobby! But for the love and support we can and will do amazing things together! We collect and preserve these relics of the past and make them available for future collectors as we will be long gone... I smile when in 50-75 years the future collectors will still be discussing and arguing over what is a variant or the age or was this actually made by the factory! Should I even mention patina!! 🤔 😁😁😁 Hopefully our legacy will be we cared and the info we have will be passed along to others we do not even know... Geo...
