I was referring to removing the
steam from the air after Rocky
takes a hot steamy shower.

I'd say it's probably post-war, late '40s. Could be early '50s, as exhaust fan design didn't change much for several decades (look at the Nu-Tone exhaust fans to see what I'm talking about). 

Definitely worth $70, probably more to someone doing a Mid Century kitchen restoration.
