Update: Found out it’s a Vornado Model 20C1, made 1949-1950.

Hello, title says it all.   Pics below.

Wife fell in love with this and I “had to” bring it home.    Yet another unexpected project.  The fan runs like a champ.  I used my Superior variable transformer as a “dimmer switch” and the fan ran fine at all speed settings.  At 120v it ran like a banshee and would service a 3-4 car garage well, at 80v it was the perfect for a small room.  I’ll probably be looking for a suitable speed control/choke/switch to allow having a variable speed fan.  This will be a resto-mod.

Note:  The “box” cover for the wiring is missing, and so no label included.  Also, I believe the switch is a replacement. It’s On/Off only.  Wires have been replaced.  Looking for the missing parts and/or suitable replacements.
