Tim Babcock Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 I have this one almost in the bag. Just two wires away and some small parts work. This is a GE 3 wire head switch fan. I had them marked as someone had a 3 wire ground newer cord put on it. So I used one white wire for the white wire neutral and hooked that up,, then I used two black wires for the green and the black, but I had to put a small piece of tape on the green wire. the tape was pushed off as the hole for the head was so small. Barley fit a 3 wire cloth covered cord. So I have the wire from the coil and the wire from the switch. Does anyone have a wiring diagram and the way to test for which wire goes to what terminal on this fan? Thanks. Quote
Tim Babcock Posted October 23, 2024 Author Posted October 23, 2024 Anyone know when this fan was made? Quote
Tim Babcock Posted October 24, 2024 Author Posted October 24, 2024 Thanks I appreciate it. Does the 3 wire wiring diagram for the AOU work on this fan? If not does anyone have one for this fan? Thanks. Quote
