Mannutacture Date for Hunter Century

I have seen dozens of these for sale and have, up to this point, avoided buying one.  However, I got this at a flea market last week and the only reason I bought it was because it was cheap.  Anyway, since I have never owned one before, I thought I should try to find out approximately when it was made.  It is a C-16 made in Memphis.  I also wanted to see if anyone thinks this is the correct blade and cage assembly and if it had a cage badge.  Thanks.

1946-48 in Memphis. They became a R&M subsidiary in 49.  One of the first fans I bought was that model back in 99-2000. I got it at a flea market for $3.00. The blade was badly out of balance.  I was dumber than a box of rocks about how to balance it. I used ceiling fan blade lead stick on patches on the back of the wings and got it to run without walking across the table. 🙂

One of the events at Fan Fair 2025 is going to be a session on the history of Hunter, it also looks as though we will be touring the Hunter Museum. Mark your calendars, it will be great.

Thanks, guys.  I appreciate your input.  Hey, Russ.  The tag you have posted looks just like mine except mine is a Ser. E.

Thanks for the heads up!
