1938 (only??) 77646AD mahogany paint, polished blade. . Any pointers on cleaning the wrinkle fisnih on the base? It’s in great shape but very dull  I’ve used crocodile wipes on my 77AN fisnih and it worked great….but this finish seems more dull and those doesn’t seem to do much plus I don’t like putting so much moisture onto the surface  those are basically water based wipes so….Any type of wax or cleaner wax will leave a haze as it gets I to the wrinkle texture.
First fan of 2025 and it’s my first 12” pedestal. I wasn’t even aware that Emerson made a polished blade fan like this. Sure I’ve probably seen it in the catalog, but it just didn’t soak in at the time.
    Seems I only
come across 16” pedestals even here in the St. Louis area where there are no shortage of Emerson’s of all variety. Probably overpaid by most folks here’s standards but I am totally content with the purchase since I just don’t see 12” pedestals.

Clean the base really good with something like Windex to pull the dirt and grime out. A soft bristle brush will get in the nooks. Chemical Guys detail spray will help bring a lil shine to it. Don't spray detail spray directly on the base, spray it onto a soft towel and wipe on, flip to dry side of towel and wipe excess off. It won't be super shiny as it never really was when new. But it'll bring a good clean look to it and protect it.

Ok thanks. I’ll look into the chemical guy stuff. I wonder if 303 protectant would kind of do the same thing. I have some of that.
