Michael Mirin
Hello It is that time of year again for Fanndango X Fan Meet at 7501 Independence St., Merrillville Indiana! It is August 19th from Sunup to Sundown. It was a great time last year and it should be again. I hope you can make it this year. If you are planning to get a hotel please here is the information on the hotels in the area https://www.trivago.com. If you can bring a table or chairs, that will be most helpful. Levi Mevis
I'm going to see if I can make it this year. I'm going to bring some fans and fan parts If I do come, I've got an old R & M fan that was rebadged as a Western Electric that I want to try and get going or see if someone else might be interested in it, as well as an old Sears Homart 20" Window Fan that I bought awhile back that I was going to try and fix up but ended up giving up on it, but the motor is still good on it as well as the blades and the bearings. Stan Adams
Mike what is that six wing contraption & that pedestal fan?
Michael Rathberger
Morris brought those. Both marked Domestic (the sewing machine company?) He mentioned he bought the pedestal a bit ago in Allegan and the other years ago and he's forgotten where. The cage, trunnion and motor all matched. Marked made in Cleveland. The pedestal was a sign stand from Minneapolis. The blade on the 4 wing was 15". Certainly odd to find two so far apart in time and so alike...
