That box was a gold mine. I was the underbid and you still didn't pay enough....

It did have a couple good pieces in it.....

Happy to let someone else have some Westinghouse vane... I bought 4 in a year! I'll wait awhile to pounce again...

I’m picking the stumps up Monday.  😉  Does this mean you have some parts for sale Mark?

Make me an offer I can't refuse on that uncommon nice ole hard to come by original beautiful brass!

Let me see how everything turns out Monday when I have them in my hands.   I’ll give you a call if that’s ok.

Here’s what Mark is talking about for anyone that’s curious.

I won a few things I'm picking up Tuesday, no desk fans though. It seems like stuff gets mixed up at these auctions when they put stumps and cages in different lots. But I'm sure everyone that got stuff is probably in the AFCA, so maybe some trading will occur 😆

If I was a betting man I would guess you have a pallet full of ceiling fans to pick up.  🤔  Am I close?

Sounds a lot like the round ball DC fans you claimed to have bought last fall.

Yup, there are two rare Westinghouse Deluxes on that pallet. The other common ones are just a bonus (or a curse maybe) 😆

Yes, it does. I might be a mean guy, but I think relentlessly buying desirable fans is a few levels more rude than making critical comments on the internet.

I’m always a little worried when the entire floor of the Fan Van is packed.  I’m one sudden stop away from being crushed to death.

The Toyota was squatting a bit...but it's got the big V6 with some good torque. Engine didn't even know there were a bunch of ceiling fans.

I always tell this to the wife when we've packed the car for a trip to a meet. I don't know if she thinks I'm joking or not, but I'm not....

At the same time the air bags deploy to potentially save your lives during a head on, the fans stacked at mid-level behind you are projectiles moving forward with lethal force. I have transported a number of them laying on their backs in the back of an Outback. They have even more space to be airborne on their way to the front seat during a head on.  I just keep telling myself what are the chances? Yikes.

I knew someone that had a motor block in the back of a pickup,he slid into a ditch embankment. Bad end for a good guy.
