Michael Rathberger Posted January 25 Posted January 25 That box was a gold mine. I was the underbid and you still didn't pay enough.... Quote

Nicholas Denney Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Happy to let someone else have some Westinghouse vane... I bought 4 in a year! I'll wait awhile to pounce again... Quote
Steve Butler Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I’m picking the stumps up Monday. 😉 Does this mean you have some parts for sale Mark? 1 Quote
Mark Stillman Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Make me an offer I can't refuse on that uncommon nice ole hard to come by original beautiful brass! 1 Quote
Steve Butler Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Let me see how everything turns out Monday when I have them in my hands. I’ll give you a call if that’s ok. Quote

Louis Weedman Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I won a few things I'm picking up Tuesday, no desk fans though. It seems like stuff gets mixed up at these auctions when they put stumps and cages in different lots. But I'm sure everyone that got stuff is probably in the AFCA, so maybe some trading will occur 😆 Quote

Yup, there are two rare Westinghouse Deluxes on that pallet. The other common ones are just a bonus (or a curse maybe) 😆 Edited January 27 by Louis Weedman 2 Quote

I might be a mean guy, but I think relentlessly buying desirable fans is a few levels more rude than making critical comments on the internet. 1 Quote

Steve Butler Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I’m always a little worried when the entire floor of the Fan Van is packed. I’m one sudden stop away from being crushed to death. Quote

I don't know if she thinks I'm joking or not, but I'm not.... 1 Quote

At the same time the air bags deploy to potentially save your lives during a head on, the fans stacked at mid-level behind you are projectiles moving forward with lethal force. I have transported a number of them laying on their backs in the back of an Outback. They have even more space to be airborne on their way to the front seat during a head on. I just keep telling myself what are the chances? Yikes. Edited January 30 by Russ Huber Quote
Paul Carmody Posted January 30 Posted January 30 (edited) I knew someone that had a motor block in the back of a pickup,he slid into a ditch embankment. Bad end for a good guy. Edited January 30 by Paul Carmody Quote
