Well, here's an alternate fix I found on the world-wide inter-web,...   you know?, the information super highway!

 

Maleable iron reducing couplers!...

How clever!

I saw the for sale, and specifically DID NOT BUY IT because of that, And yes, I recognized what it was, and was torn between rating the previous repairman//woman 'E for effort' and 'F for Fail'! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

You better believe it! I’m less than 30min away.Now I want a kolache or 3.Apricot! My favorite.

I have been known to drive up to 50 miles just to buy a couple of kolaches in West, Texas.  The Czechs really know how to make them.  Apricot is the best.
