Jeff, what is the title of the ebay post?   I am not finding it.   I found the tripod with blade but no switch of internals but you said "Not the motor housing with the blade" which is the one I did find.

Thanks Doug and Jim.   Must have been a BIN?   As for white switches, they appear only on early tripods and maybe not all early ones.   The details on the white switches are different; no thumb screws to attach power which is a lot easier to do than on the early switchs which I have seen in both white and black.   My tripod, below, and a proper steel cage has replaced the earlier brass cage shown on the fan.

The one on Facebook was a EI-1. No Stator.

This one looks pretty awesome to me!  But I sure didn't buy it.
