Hello friends. The Edison arrived. I hooked it up to my six volt commercial (rechargeable) battery and it ran quietly and smoothly. I then ran it using my dRock converter at four volts which seemed to be a better for it so that's what I'll run it at. It's a beautiful fan! I'm thrilled with it. Watch it run below.

David, that is a beautiful and good running Thomas Fan.   It's about the same noise level of mine with the teflon balls in place.   I don't recall the spindown time on mine but it should be close.

Gary, what is the advantage of using the Silicon Nitride Ceramic Bearing Balls in your fan?   Ceramic is very different than teflon.
