Dave McManaman
I picked up another GE Whiz. Cage and blade were pretty beat up. But it’s the first one with what looks like good original paint all around. So I want to preserve it yet get it clean and as back to an original finish as possible. GE’s paint is not very tolerant to solvents. Any suggestions on how best to safely clean the finish of dirt/grease/etc? Thanks all!
Michael Rathberger
Try gojo hand cleaner, the smooth cream stuff. It'll cut grease and grime. Leave it on to work, wipe off. Do again. A little messy but it's safe for the paint. 2

Jeff Rusnak
Try Scrubs in a Bucket. You can get them at Hardware stores and I think maybe Lowe’s or Home Depot. It citrus scented and cleans dirt n grime quite good not removing paint.I’ve used it and have had good luck so far…
