How many Emerson Trojan 12” 6 blade models were made? I think that’s a great looking unit, someday I’ll find one

On the old forum Geoff posted a line up of the early Trojans. This excludes all brass version, 51646, 52646 along with later two versions with step bases

Six blades found in this earlier batch.

Notice how the 5410 pancake motor is slightly thicker.

here's a couple of pic's of those early Trojan fans 5110 , 5210  '02-'05   5310 , 5410

'06-'08 ,  5610  '09-'10   and then the fluted bases disappeared ???  the dating is my guess only from old electrical world fan notes.  Not really sure at all about the exact duration of the 5410 or the transition year to the 5610.

I've got that one! (-;

Chris, will you, or Russ, or some, post photos of the rotor/stator, and dimensions of the Motor housing? Are these different form the 4-wing Trojans?

4 wing is 4 pole. 6 wing is 6 pole

Thank you, that's what I expected. I just like to _ SEE these things (-;. It seems there's a lacking of internal photos of any models, that would be useful to many current members I'm sure, and ultimately would be a great help for future members/users. (No, I'm not volunteering, lol.)

Just like GE Pancake. Shaded motor. 4 pole. Found on 2 speed pancakes. Choke coil is 1 set of winding. No start windings on shaded pole.

Thank you, but I have plenty of both; I was referring to the 6-pole!
(Did you rewind those? I picked up a counter I'm going to rig to my coil winder because - I can't keep track anymore.)

BTW, that is not my Trojan above, but I thought I would share a "great looking unit". 🙂

I did a write up on the old forum with motor winding info for a 5110.

If memory serves me there are 300 turns per shaded pole..24awg wire

Did you re-cut the stator laminations!? That's a job alone worth detailing!  👍🏼

I can’t resist showing one of my favorite fans. My little grandson actually got his hand smacked for touching this one!  Wesco 5610.  Even though his middle name is Emerson, a guy has to draw the line somewhere.

The right tone was more important than the look.  😏
