     Can this be explained to me, please?  I'm presuming it refers to comments edited out by Administrators........??

   I thought I'd earned one of these accolades in the Buy/Sell category, but when I just checked, it no longer appeared subsequent to my comment... so it's a matter of curiosity.....

That just means you have not read the comments below the blue line. It is supposed to be helpful in directing you to the spot where you stopped reading last time you checked the thread. It does the same thing the green arrows did on the old forum. Unfortunately it does not work flawlessly; it has misdirected me multiple times to a point far past the place where I had finished reading in my previous check.

        Thank You, Noah... That makes complete sense and explains the disappearing feature I thought I observed. I don't remember even observing green arrows from before, which means they were among features I never used or, possibly, understood.

No problem. I only figured out about the green arrows fairly recently. See the picture below. If there was no green arrow that meant you were all caught up. You could click the arrow and it would take you to the spot where you had read last.

Yes, but a turner must
yield on a solid green.
