Jeff Whitfield Posted February 13, 2022 Share Posted February 13, 2022 (edited) Here's a trick I learned from Dave Dimitrion to remove the hard-to-reach plate in the base of a Silver Swan. Essentially, a plate is cut and drilled with two screws, offset from one another, so that it fits inside the base. Once inserted into the base, the plate comes out easily. I've never removed one of these springs ... now I know how.
