Am I allowed to ask for help in pricing an item?

I'm looking to put my verity to auction but was wondering what to put as a reserve, is this something that could be discussed in this forum please? I wouldn't like to break the rules having just joined.

Thanks in advance

You can always do ebay research to see what others have sold for or you can ask, but you may or may not get a price you're comfortable with. I always say, price it at what you're willing to part with it for no matter what anyone else may say.  I will say that most Verity Orbitals are relatively rare. I couldn't price one for you specifically, but to help, it would take pictures and other info without which, most everyone would just end up guessing anyway.

Hi Katie.  I can second what Jamie said about looking for completed sales of past auctions.

As much as I like our members here; you may find that asking for pricing assistance gets quite a few low suggested values from those who are hoping to buy your fan for a reduced price after you list it.

Thanks for reply.

I didnt want to post photos ecr incase to be seen as trying to get the ad on.

I've been doing lots of searching but not finding anything the same lots of similarish items but haven't been able to find another one. Also the prices of the similar ones vary so much.

I agree with the price id be happy to take i think that's the most sensible way to go forward. I dont really want to part with it but needs must and the collections getting to big .

Thanks again
