David Allen
Hi folks. I've had some strange security-related incidents lately. Last week, I was getting blocked from the forum; as in could not see the website at all with connections timing out. Asked on Facebook and everyone else had no problems. I refreshed my IP address and this problem resolved. This happened more than once where I had to refresh my IP address to get online. That was with my laptop computer. Today, I tried logging in on my desktop computer at home; and after one login attempt my account was locked. The password reset took two tries to get the e-mail with the system saying that I had just generated a password reset and it may be in junk mail. But it was not. Nearly half hour later I got the reset e-mail. Any insight into what is happening? I have not had any malware detections on any of my devices. Ben Guegain
You have been flagged by the FBI most likely. Intent to distribute dangerous fans or something…
Mark Olson
Hi David, I assume you are running windows computers. You more than likely caught mal-ware. Update your mal-ware dB and rescan. If you run Linux or Mac this probably does not apply.

Mark Olson
Hi David, I am at a loss. If no other sites are affected, then I would suspect a browser issue. Clear cookies and cache? (all browser history)

It was two separate computers exhibiting the problems, my laptop had the blocked connectivity, and the desktop was the one which got my account locked out after one login attempt. Stan Adams
The system will automatically lock you out for several hours after 3 attempts of the wrong password. It appears that is what happened.
