I've been working on the newest addition to the Museum for a while and just finished it up. It's a complete fabrication of a fan using a pair of cast Griffons that were made at Casablanca Ceiling fan Company while Tom worked there. Using the motor housing from a late '06-'08 GE cake, I sourced a rotor and stator from an AFCA member. The blade is a repop six wing that came from another member. Everything else was made here in the shop including the cage. All the brass was chemically aged. Paint is GM Gunmetal metallic base and urethane clearcoat with pearl. It was a fun project and is now on display.
