Is everyone having an amazing fan year!??? If I were a birder, this would be MY BIG YEAR—and, it's only AuGUST! (Chemists, see what I did there?) I've been having my best fan year ever, by far. By June I'd already crossed *MANY* fans off my bucket list. Some at 'retail'—but as many at ridiculous bargain prices. Is there a flood of great fans turning up lately, the Lloyd Davis collection aside, or is it just that I'm paying more attention? Or having much more luck? The storm just blew this in from the wilds of New Jersey today; the previous owner was born in 1910, and a Jersey City, NJ Woodshop teacher. A Richmond Portable Battery Fan! I'm blown away. And they took asking price, refusing the over three-and-a half-times ask I offered (before I even had any idea what this was, as I'd never seen one). How many of these are out there? I have found a couple online now.
