  1. This is the first time I've had an S4 apart. It wasn't running, so I've not seen it go. Can you smart people explain how the centrifugal switch mechanism works? It looks to me like the contact ring shifts forward under speed, or does it pull back in somehow? Is the mechanism supposed to rattle aound like that? Does the steel dust cover ring thing on the back do anything at all? I'd love to see a video of your S4 switch on startup and learn how this thing is supposed to work. I'll be reassembling to try it after testing, cleaning and rewiring, but I'd like to understand how it is supposed to work before firing it up. Thank you. IMG_3077.MOV
  2. I’m restoring a 24” 2 speed Hunter Century Air Circulator. It’s has a bad levolier (hard to believe, huh?). I swear there was a post with wiring diagram on the old forum, to convert it to a toggle switch. I may have even posted it as I did the changeout on one years ago but I can’t find my notes. please don’t respond unless you know for sure how to wire it. This is a customers fan and I cant afford to smoke the motor. thanks in advance for your help!
