Hello fan family, after 2 tough years with moving and remodeling and then false starts due to Covid, I’m pleased to announce that Jeanie and I are eagerly looking forward to hosting our annual Fall regional fan meet this September. The venue is locked and loaded! We’ve chosen a great venue with lots of tables in a wooded park setting with a babbling creek. There’ll be lot of tables, lots of receptacles, and of course lots of fans and fanatics! Oh and of course great food. It’s very convenient to all major highways in the area. After thinking of many names for the event (in hindsight, some weren’t so good) Jeanie and I have dubbed it simply the Fall Fan Fest. The meet location will be just outside of York, PA. We’ll have more info coming as we get closer. Members, guests, and fan friends are welcome, but registration will be required so we can plan for food. York is the snack food capitol of the world, so there are plenty of places to tour if you come early or stay late. We’re near some great antiquing spots, hiking, shopping and other activities even for non-fanners. Lancaster’s Amish Country is just a half hour away, so plan to spend the weekend. Lots of hotels in the York and Lancaster area from posh to frugal. We are just miles from the Susquehanna River, with its hiking/biking trails, and Harrisburg, the PA capitol is a short drive. BOOK YOUR HOTELS NOW! They are sure to sell out as the summer months approach. Because of the Amish area nearby, Fall is a popular time for vacations here. Over the next year, the plan is to reduce my fan inventory by 1/3, so there will be a lot of fans for sale at the event! Reasonably priced! We’re considering a Friday nite open house and fan Pre-sale at our home for AFCA members only if there’s enough interest. Jeanie and I hope you’ll choose to carve out some time to attend the event! And a personal invite to those beyond the Mississippi. Believe it or not, there are bridges that go across it to the East! We have a great time every year!
