Jim Roadt
I want to make sure this is running properly before restoring it ( opposite of what i foolishly do on all others) Blade spins freely , however, when running it needs a spin start and within 15 seconds stops turning same on both speeds Also got the custom made bolt , thank you Darryl. Does the one end just ride inside that channel on the cframe or is there supposed to be something inside cframe to screw into? Thanks for any information
Jim Roadt
Also want to thank Jamie and all others involved with setting this site up. Im amazed everytime i effortlessly upload pics or video. The old site was a half hour project with expletives
Anthony Lindsey
The screw just rides in the slot. The C Frame I got had to be spin started too. Had to get it rewound to fix the issue. Not sure about the stopping part. is that a 12 or 16? I have a set of struts that I took off mine that had been home fixed as they are known to be to thin and eventually broke/bent near the motor but they could be worked with if your interested. Anthony Lindsey
Nice, That is a GE BMY motor so it should be easy to get going.

Anthony Lindsey
Must be something in the back unit that connects the rotor to the oscillator disc. There are 4 screws holding the back cover on. Inside there should be a piece of metal shaped like a "cross" sort of that fits into a cut out section of a large round gear. It's been a while since I had it apart. See if those parts are in there. Steve Cunningham
There are two gears inside the mechanism. You may be missing the inner gear.
Anthony Lindsey
Inside. There are 2 notches at 9 and 3 and there is a piece that fits in there. I don't have a picture of it.

Jim Henderson
Sorry Jim. That will be a tough fix. The screw that rides in the track has a spring and nipple on the end to provide some movement and prevent binding. Nothing goes in the track but grease. I know Darryl Hudson makes the screw for the back and Dan Nguyen makes the gears. I bought mine from Dan and they were absolutely perfect! I have an extra screw if you need...holler.
