Bejon A. Boranian
...for those wondering: it's not my build.. Instead it was bought this way as parts/repair from a lot. (I paid just over $10 for it) ...the quality is very good, even though its broken, the motor still turns over and the light kit still works 💡😎 Real brass central rod & light-kit cover are a bonus.
Bejon A. Boranian
...alas, I am a-bit torn, on the one hand I can "Restore" it. on the other hand, I can "Convert" it. If converted, I would give it real wood blades with an actual dedicated mounting system. (The current blade set is made of 3-d printed plastic, which got broken) The current blade construction also fused the "mounts" with the blades... The flywheel is OK and still usable. The motor is a BLDC type, CCW rotation only. (Non- Reversible type). Single bearing via a micro ball bearing, but I think it needs to be doubled for stability. Too much wobble currently. Will update on this fan as time allows. Â
Cole Day
This looks like one of those doll-house type fans. I never knew they have a motor though, thought they were just a light with fixed blades.
