APRIL 1 IS COMING FAST THAT MEANS JUST A LITTLE OVER 2 MONTHS TO GO UNTIL THE NEXT BBQ ON JUNE 1ST IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED I HAVE A ROBBIE-LAWRENCE STYLE AUCTION OF FANS I AM GOING TO PART WITH ...SO I MIGHT TRY IT. I CAN ASSURE YOU THE RAFFLE FANS WILL BE PRESENT AS WELL AS FREEBIES/AUCTION FANS & PARTS ******************** I HAVE AN OLD MAGIC CHEF PRE WW2 GAS RANGE ON MY FRONT PORCH THAT IS UP FOR GRABS FREE (IT WAS GIVEN TO ME FREE, I PASS IT ON) . IT IS WHITE PORECELAIN AND PRETTY DECENT FOR ITS AGE. I HAVE USED IT FOR INSIDE PORCH STORAGE BUT MY SON IN LAW IS MAKING ME FURNITURE PIECES FOR MY PORCH SO ROOM IS BECOMING AN ISSUE *********** IF YOU WISH TO MAKE IT YOURS, LET ME KNOW I WILL TEXT YOU PICTURES **********************ITS A GREAT DISPLAY PIECE PLEASE RSVP IF YOU HAVNT, THIS HELPS ME PLAN FOOD AND DRINKS (THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT) THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AS MY TABLES CONTINUE TO GET OLDER (CHAIRS TOO) IT IS ALWAYS HELPFUL IF YOU BRING SOMETHING TO USE . {FUTURE NEWS} I AM GETTING OLDER AND I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS EVENT AT LEAST TEN YEARS . I HAVE BEEN ASKED 2 THINGS #1 WOULD I CONSIDER AN INDOOR EVENT FOR 2025 #2 IF I CAN FIND A LOCATION FOR 2025 I HAVE SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO ASSIST **PLUS** ONE WHO SAID HE IS WILLING TO TAKE OVER . SOOOOOOOOOOO FOR 2025 I AM GOING TO LOOK INTO A FORMAT CHANGE ....SOOOOOOOOO STAY TUNED ! Jeff Rusnak Posted April 28 Share Posted April 28 As always Tom I’ll be there I’m only 10 minutes down the road,haven’t missed a one of the NJBBQ meets always a GREAT MEET NO MATER THE WEATHER !! As Tom has said he’s looking to maybe an indoor location locally for future NJBBQ meets with members helping to keep this GREAT ANNUAL meet going.Its hands down the Best Meet here in the tri state !! Tom n I were just talking last week when we got together to work on fans and we’re thinking that if he gets members who attend the meet regularly volunteer to help out it’d be great and Tom can finally take a well deserved breather and enjoy the meet instead of constantly going during the meet to ensure everyone in attendance is enjoying themselves.Then he can get a break and sit n chat with everyone..I,told him I’m up to the challenge and I’d be great if we can get everyone onboard to keep the NJBBQ going !! Sorry Tom if I’ve stepped on your toes it’s not intentional, but I think everyone needs to be aware of the monumental task of a two day meet !! Cudos to,you Tom !! However I may be able to talk my niece into going in my stead. She lives in upstate N.Y. What town is this being held in? Address?
