Th.H?

Thomson Houston?

That’s a good question.  Mine is from Spain and it has alternate tags on it for sale there.  Does not have the AEG tag or the holes to mount it with.

That model fan appears in several art museums including MoMA in New York as an example of the Industrialist design era.

Dr. Th. Horn,  a company from Leipzig, Germany. This is an AEG fan re-badged .

Dr. Th. Horn was more famous for aeronautic instruments. But they made fans also - see photos

Well, if you're ever there and remember. . . 👍🏼

I think I should have a fan storage sale myself. 😉

@Mel Lagarde Thank you, I was specifically asking about the GB1s, but this is perhaps even more interesting. It seems AEG made a few designs that were as idiosyncratic as the early Towle and Paragon fans, as far as their geometry goes. Is this also a Peter Behrens design? (I don't think so.) As the AEG model-naming convention *seems* to go, the 'GH' would be a DC model, 6 models AFTER the 'B' of the GB1 and WB1. G=DC, W=AC*. Perhaps that logic is incorrect. I see this design being contemporary or even prior the GB1... ?

*— Note, on the post-war AEG fans, such as the 'GV' models, the initial 'G" no longer denotes DC.
