Correct Emerson Silver Swan color?

Does anybody out there have an exact or close match paint color or mixing formula for the brown color for a silver swan?

The silver swan I'm working on now has a few rust spots that need to be taken care of and the autobody supply place I use is unable to scan any part of the current fan because there is not enough flat square surface area for their camera to match the paint

I used a powder coat in past for a 30s Edgar T. Ward circulator. It was from ordered from Prismatic Powders under the name of Rootbeer Metallic. The chocolate browns used in the 30s where kind of drab. This powder pops especially in the light. If you have never worked with powder coat you need to check into the dos and don'ts with your parts coming back together.

Thanks for the tip Russ.  I agree, powder coating would be awesome, but I'm a little hesitant only because I've never done it and I dont have the tools to do it.   My wife would kill me if I ruined our oven letting it cure

Vic, just curious, how close was this to the original color?  I was hoping to not have to repaint the whole fan and just touch up a few spots.

Well it was close as I could find in standard colors. I could have went to a custom paint store to match it up better.

I don't do the powder coating. I take it to the powder coater who sand blasts it. I then take the castings back to check them over, wire wheel them, and I do all my own prep work at the powder coater to make sure they don't screw up and shoot threaded holes and such. They just have to hang, shoot, and cook. Saves on cost.
