Geoff Dunaway
Stefan has the remains of one of those, rescued by me from the pending dumster fate at Southside Electric in St. Louis 11 years ago & I passed it on to Stefan. Gearbox was made out of Century S-2 quality pot metal & I doubt there are many survivors of this fan. It did have that purdy red seal on the cage badge. Russ Huber
Son William Tideman left Cairo for employment in Canton, Ohio early 21. Henry Tideman resigned Oct. of 21 and established as a consulting engineer in Chicago in 22. The only Menominee fans produced in 1920 with Henry Tideman in charge were the 9" models due to material shortage. 1921 Menominee fan motors including 9", 12", and 16" models were the last manufactured under Henry Tideman management. Co. name and the "Menominee" fan trademark are maintained as late as 1924. Can't pin anything down for 25 and 26 yet.
