Nicholas Denney
Similar designs, but different manufacturers! I assume this is an archival photo, so what's the context of the grouping? That I can only guess
Steve Rockwell
Here's the caption, with manufacturers redacted... It's a G.E. photo, and I believe they're just documenting their decorative competition...
Nicholas Denney
Here are the 'answers'... open for someone else to answer yet! Hint: The left design was roughly imitated by Hunter as the "1896 Art Nouveau"

Steve Cunningham
Left is a R&M C, Center is an ornate Diehl. Right is a Western Electric.

Evan Atkinson
Just beautiful Steve. So nice to have those images. This archive is remarkable! As if you aren’t already looking for images all the time, the Diehl DC switch ball at the bottom of that fan is a part none of us who own the fan seem to have. If you run across any images showing a side/bottom detail (in particular) of that ball, it could help us recreate one
Steve Rockwell
I can't make a useful guess why that image is obscured immediately below the switch... Serial number is 197857...
