  14. Patent only lists Howard D Colman - is this pre Barber-Colman? Both the cast-iron/steel and the bakelite version list the same patent number on their bases. Notice the rear housing vent shapes and presence of the screws in the patent figures versus how the on the cast-iron/stamped steel version versus the bakelite version... \ Cast-iron base, stamped steel motor housing... Another example... Barcol Bakelite...
