Greg Rodocker
Recently acquired the above ceiling fan. Of course the switch is not working- a portion of center brass sheared off and will not rotate to engage the contacts. I attempted to visit the old forum and was unsuccessful in searching site. I probably know the answer but are these repairable? If not how do you “bypass” or work around the switch? Thanks in advanced Greg
Stan Adams
Greg those switches are scarce & I don’t know of anyone rebuilding them. I have used a modern three speed pull chain, but if you want the original snap switch, expect to pay upwards of $100. You can also bypass the switch & use a wall control. I saw an H&H switch not long ago on EBay.
